Carlos lives in Madrid and has been paraplegic for the past twenty-five years. Since he was injured, he has been a professional wheelchair basketball player. This sport has given him great experiences and, along with his teammates, he's had great success, including three national league titles, three national cup titles and the European championship in 1997, which he remembers especially fondly. He's now retired, due to an injury, although he still plays a match or two with other veterans.

«He trained Javier Bardem for his role as a paraplegic in the film Carne Trémula.»
Carlos is passionate about music and film. He likes Spanish groups like Love of Lesbian, Vetusta Morla and Supersubmarina; and he loves the films of Lars Von Trier. Although, while we're on the subject of films, we have to say that Carlos is "our Almodóvar kid", as he trained Javier Bardem for his role as a paraplegic in the film Carne Trémula. Now you know how Bardem did it so well!
