Pere, head of post-sales service at Batec Mobility, is in charge of installing our handbikes on users' wheelchairs, repairing them, advising official national services and giving them the training necessary so they can install and repair Batec handbikes on their own.

He has a knee condition called "pigmented villonodular synovitis" that causes tumours to grow and slowly "eat away" at the joint bone. Due to this condition, considered a disability due to the pain and limitations it causes, Pere sticks to calm hobbies like fishing and looking for wild mushrooms, which also allow him to enjoy the sea and the mountains.
He spends his free time with his family, above all his two daughters Aran (10) and Anna (3). Aran shares his love of castells (human castles), so he takes her to practice with the Castellers de Cerdanyola three times a week. Although Pere can't participate because of his knee condition, he does take advantage to get a close-up look from the "piña", which is the base of the human castle, at how the tower is built.

Pere loves the Batec Mobility social project, although he says he feels bad when he has to install one of our handbikes on a young person's wheelchair. Then he thinks about how happy it will make them and feels better.
