Forrest (quadriplegic, Canada) was born in the mountains, making him a huge nature lover and outdoor sports devotee. He moved to Invermere (British Columbia, Canada), where he started a beautiful family with his wife Cassy and two sons, Taylor (6) and Owen (9). Eleven months ago, while he was skiing, he had an accident that caused an incomplete spinal injury at the C6-C7 level.

Now, Forrest is still doing his rehabilitation and has no intention of giving up his lifestyle. This is one of the reasons he decided to get a manual wheelchair instead of an electric wheelchair, which he thought was too passive. One day he discovered our handbikes and saw they were the solution he'd been looking for, as they gave him the electric assist he needed to stay in the manual wheelchair and do all the things he couldn't before because of the injury.

The Campbells have a website, I Will Walk, where they share stories of their new adapted world and the progress Forrest is making. On the site they show how they're building a new home and their emotional return to the slopes at the Panorama Mountain Resort, where Forrest had his accident.

But the story that impressed us the most was his adventure on the ice. Forrest and his family used his BATEC QUAD ELECTRIC handbike to skate the Windermere Whiteway, a 34-kilometre ice track considered the longest in the world. The put studded tyres for better grip and tested it out at 25 km/h. Awesome!

Here's the video Cassy made of "her boys" having fun at Windermere Whiteway.
