Batec People
Today is International Women's Day. Here at Batec Mobility we'd like to congratulate all of the women out there, and especially those who show that their disability can't stop them from facing life with a smile. Workers, mothers, daughters, artists, athletes, grandmothers, students... Enjoy your day!
Forrest (quadriplegic, Canada), huge nature lover and outdoor sports devotee, has always been adventurous and his injury has not changed that. Do not miss him "skating" with his family and his Batec handbike at Windermere Whiteway, the world's longest ice-skating track. Amazing!
Mario (paraplegic, Córdoba), huge fan of Barça and computer sciences student, has been in a wheelchair for four years as a result of an unlucky dive. He is a user of the BATEC ELECTRIC handbike that he uses to get around in Madrid, where he lives; to go out with his friends and to give pretty girls a lift.
One of the most rewarding parts of our work is making life easier for users of our handbikes. There are stories that move you and today we'd like to share one of them: David and his BATEC ELECTRIC handbike. This story made us smile and moved us at the same time. Want to hear it?
Kat is part of the French electro pop band KatCross. We met her when she became the first French user of the BATEC ELECTRIC handbike and we discovered a great person who is also the lead singer of a great band. Today we're speaking with her about her music and her life, now motorised with one of our handbikes.
We’ve had the pleasure of interviewing José Alberto Álvarez García, president of the Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Physical Disabilities (FEDDF) and vice-president of the Spanish Paralympic Committee. José Alberto spoke about the federations and his life as an athlete, gave advice for future athletes and told us about his experience with his Batec handbike. Don’t miss out!
