Coming up with a costume in a wheelchair isn't as hard as it may seem. In fact, there are many ingenious ideas online that will surprise you with their originality and simplicity. Here at Batec Mobility we've found some that we think are great for going out with your Batec handbike, such as becoming a medieval knight or Elliot taking ET "hooooooommme" in the BATEC PICNIC basket. Do you dare to try them?

A few months ago, the story of Ryan Weimer went viral. This father of three children with spinal muscular atrophy created costumes for his kids using their wheelchairs and the pictures were shared around the world. Given their success, he founded Magical Wheelchair, a non-profit organisation that creates dream costumes for other children in wheelchairs. It is a hugely inspiring story for making costumes for the youngest members of the family.

Anything goes this time of year, as long as you're enjoying the drums, floats, comedy troupes and street musicians. You can even attach and detach the Batec handbike from your wheelchair in time with the music like Javier de Oña did last year for our Click & Go! contest.

What about you? Will you show us your costume? We'd love to see it!
