From 24 to 26 June, Barcelona hosted the 1st Wheelchair Rugby Rookie's Tournament, the first international quadrugby tournament in Spain. With the aim of raising awareness of wheelchair rugby in our country, the four participating teams helped make this edition a resounding success.

On 16 April, Girona hosted the 6th edition of Oxfam Intermon Trailwalker, a 100-kilometre charity trek to fight poverty and hunger around the world. This year Ricard (paraplegic, Barcelona) successfully overcame this gruelling challenge with his wheelchair and BATEC HYBRID handbike.
