Mogo Wheelchairs are 100% custom made and started as Action Wheelchairs in the small family garage over 33 years ago when the founder became a paraplegic after a coal mining cave-in accident. Since the day of his accident Michael had a vision to help others get on with their lives and made it his goal to create light weight functional chairs. Leon, Michael’s son and now the Director of Mogo Wheelchairs, has been involved with wheelchairs most of his life, from watching his Dad’s basketball games, to helping in all aspects of the manufacturing. After leaving school and learning his trade as an aluminium welder, he too, now designs and builds chairs.
Our philosophy is that our product will remain completely client driven, and we are not happy until our client is 100% satisfied with the end product. Every client is different with different needs and our goal is to meet each and every one of them.
Mogo & Batec
Mogo Wheelchair’s showroom is based in Bankstown NSW Australia. Mogo offers four different models of Batec for demonstrations in the showroom and offer full in home, or on site trials. Full fitting and after sales service is available, and carry the full range of Batec spare parts and accessories. If a client is to purchase a Mogo wheelchair, we can also weld the Batec mount bar in place to save on weight. Our Batec Range is not limited to Mogo and we carry the full range of clamps to suit a broad range of brands.
