NOTE FROM BATEC MOBILITY SL
Information about the note the AEMPS has published on products manufactured by Batec Mobility:
It is a voluntary safety measure (ref. FSCA_2021.12.001) taken by Batec Mobility after detecting an internal error in the manufacturing process. Specifically, the screws on the disc brakes weren't tightened properly and there was a risk that the screws would fall out, which would lead to a loss of breaking power.
Products affected: Batec handbike models MINI, MINI 2, SCRAMBLER 2, ELECTRIC 2 (which includes the RAPID 2 line of products), HIBRID and HIBRID 2.

We have notified users affected to temporarily stop using their Batec handbike and to contact their distributor immediately to handle the repairs.
This measure has been put in place to prevent any accidents. It is not a product recall.
